Legendary Floyd Mayweather has shared his thoughts on the top fighters in the lightweight division.
The former multi-weight champion considers Shakur Stevenson to be the most skilled fighter in this weight class, while he regards Gervonta Davis as the best puncher.
"The strongest puncher in the lightweight division is probably Gervonta Davis, but the most skilled fighter, without a doubt, is Shakur Stevenson," Mayweather said, as quoted by journalist Michael Benson.
Gervonta Davis is set to fight Frank Martin on June 15. This will be Davis's first bout since his TKO victory over Ryan Garcia in April last year.
Shakur Stevenson will step into the ring on July 6, facing German boxer Artem Harutyunyan.
