Soccer Laduma has revealed behind-the-scenes details of the new contract signing for the Brazilians' midfielder, Themba Zwane.

Details: After suffering an Achilles tendon injury in October last year, Zwane’s future with Mamelodi remained uncertain.

The player only returned to action in April, sparking rumors that he might not stay at Masandawana for the 2025/26 season.

But it was recently confirmed that Mamelodi have extended the legend’s contract for another year. Zwane’s agent commented:

Glad you noticed. Maybe people didn’t realize how hard it was to convince the club to extend with Themba, but in the end, they got the message.

My advice was this: I think Themba is for them what Luka Modrić is for Real Madrid. So they should treat him like their golden boy. When you have problems, you can turn to Themba and everything will be alright.
