Details: Today, La Liga's official page on social network X announced that 18-year-old right winger of Catalan giants Barcelona, Lamine Yamal, has been officially recognized as the best player in the Spanish Championship for the 2025/26 season.
This season, Yamal featured in 28 La Liga matches for Barcelona, scoring 16 goals and providing 12 assists. Yamal became one of Barcelona's key players as they clinched the La Liga title, leaving their rivals with no chance.
To date, Yamal has played a total of 151 matches for Barcelona, notching up 49 goals and 52 assists. His current contract with the Catalan club runs until 2031, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at 200 million euros.
