On April 23, 2017, exactly seven years ago, the legendary Lionel Messi scored one of his most famous goals in his career.

In the 33rd round of La Liga in the 2016/17 season, Barcelona defeated Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu with a score of 3-2, and Messi scored the winning goal in the 90th minute.

Celebrating the goal, the Argentine ran towards the Real Madrid fans, took off his shirt, and demonstratively showed it to them. This celebration by Messi eventually became iconic.

However, that victory did not help Barcelona win La Liga. The title ultimately went to Real Madrid.
