Legendary. Cult heavy metal artists unveil new Aston Villa kit

On Tuesday, July 23, the new home kit of Birmingham's Aston Villa for the 2024/25 season was presented.

The first kit from the new technical sponsor, Adidas is dedicated to the club's 150th anniversary. For this occasion, a special “AV 150” symbol is featured on the shirts.

The club approached the presentation of the new kit creatively. The presentation featured Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler, the vocalist and bass guitarist of the legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath, and one of their most famous songs, "Paranoid," was used in the video.

All four members of the original Black Sabbath lineup were born, raised, and formed the band in the Aston area of Birmingham, where the club is based. Both Ozzy and Butler are devoted Aston Villa fans.
