Legendary Allegri to become the new head coach of Al-Ahli

The management of Saudi club Al-Ahli is deeply disappointed with the team’s performance this season and has decided to make a change in the head coach position.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, the new head coach of Al-Ahli will be the legendary Massimiliano Allegri, who was dismissed by Juventus this past summer.

The parties have fully agreed on all the contract details, and the official announcement is expected in the coming days. However, Allegri will assume his new role starting this summer.

Until the end of the current season, Al-Ahli is expected to be led by Gabriele Cioffi, known for his previous work with Verona and Udinese. He will replace the team’s current manager Matthias Jaissle.

After 15 rounds, Al-Ahli is in only fifth place in the Saudi Pro League.

Reminder: Earlier reports suggested that Al-Ahli showed interest in Manchester City’s experienced defender Kyle Walker.
