Leganes and Valladolid will play in La Liga next season

On June 2, the final round of the Spanish Segunda Division took place. The suspense at the top of the standings remained until the very last matches, which determined the two winners.

Leganes hosted Elche and secured a victory in the match, as well as in the second-tier division of Spain, thanks to two goals before halftime. Despite losing to Tenerife, Valladolid took second place and, together with Leganes, will play in La Liga next season. The third ticket to the top division will be contested by Eibar, Espanyol, Real Oviedo, and Sporting Gijon. Meanwhile, Cadiz, Almeria, and Granada have previously moved in the opposite direction.

Amorebieta, Alcorcon, Andorra, and Villarreal B will leave the Segunda.
