Leeds United Ready to Break Transfer Record for Sporting CP Defender Ousmane Diomande

Leeds United are reportedly preparing to smash their transfer record in a bold move for Ousmane Diomande, who has emerged as one of the most sought-after defenders in European football.

The Sporting CP centre-back is understood to have a €69m release clause in his contract, although the Portuguese giants are said to be open to negotiations at a lower fee in the region of €43m.

Leeds are reportedly ready to table an offer worth around £35m plus an additional £8m in performance-related add-ons as they look to secure the services of the highly rated Ivory Coast international.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are all reportedly interested in the defender.
