Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke has reached a preliminary agreement with the club's management to extend his contract until June 2029.

Details: According to football insider Nicolò Schira, the parties have fully agreed on all the details of the new employment contract and successfully completed the deal. The Yorkshire club's hierarchy highly values the team's progress under the 50-year-old German coach and is keen to secure long-term stability in the dugout well in advance.

Official confirmation of the contract extension is expected very soon. The signing of a new five-year agreement is intended to put an end to any speculation surrounding the coach's future and give Farke a free hand to continue reshaping the squad from both a personnel and tactical perspective.

It is worth noting that Daniel Farke took charge of Leeds United in the summer of 2023, instilling an attractive possession-based style and a high level of discipline in the Whites. Before moving to Yorkshire, the German coach built a reputation as a master of achieving promotion objectives in England, guiding Norwich City to the Premier League twice as Championship winners.
