NBA star LeBron James has unexpectedly decided to become part of the electoral process in the U.S. and has openly supported Kamala Harris's candidacy in the upcoming presidential election.
Quote: Speaking to reporters in the locker room, James said: "I have a daughter, a wife, and a mother, and I support the things she believes in when it comes to women's rights and the future of my children, as well as where I see our country.
I believe that this endorsement is absolutely right. And, to be honest, you know me. I certainly wasn’t going to support anyone else."
Reminder: LeBron James has long supported the Democrats. Back in 2008, the NBA legend endorsed Barack Obama, and in 2016, he actively campaigned for Hillary Clinton. LeBron James also consistently criticizes Donald Trump on social media.
