France's head coach Didier Deschamps declined to directly address the reasons behind Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé’s absence from the national team for the November fixtures.
Quote: "Why isn't Mbappé on the squad? I've already said what needed to be said. There are 23 players here, and that's all. Kylian isn't here, leave him alone," Deschamps was quoted as saying by Fabrizio Romano.
Reminder: Deschamps did not call up Mbappé for the French squad’s Nations League matches in November. This sparked rumors that Kylian might consider retiring from his international team.
The president of the French Football Federation, Philippe Diallo, has already responded to this speculation.
