Leader stays. Aston Villa reach agreement on new deal with Rogers
Morgan Rogers remains a crucial figure for the current Aston Villa side, and the club have managed to reach an agreement with him to ensure he stays put.
Details: According to David Ornstein, the Birmingham club have agreed a new contract with Morgan Rogers. His previous deal ran until 2030, but the new one extends his stay through 2031. The winger will also receive an improved salary under the updated terms.
Rogers joined Premier League side Aston Villa in February 2024 for an undisclosed fee.
Recently, Aston Villa also announced a new contract for their 31-year-old Scottish midfielder, John McGinn.
