UEFA's official website has announced the best player of the fifth round of the Champions League. The title went to Lazio's forward, Ciro Immobile.

Immobile managed to score two goals in the match against Celtic, securing victory for his team and guaranteeing their place in the playoffs a round before the group stage's conclusion.

Among the contenders for the best player were also Benfica's João Mário, Galatasaray's Hakim Ziyech, and Manchester City's Phil Foden.

UEFA also revealed the best players in two other European tournaments - the Europa League and the Conference League.

In the Europa League, Michael Gregoritsch from Freiburg was named the best player. The Austrian midfielder netted a hat-trick against Olympiacos, aiding his team's 5-0 win and securing their spot in the next stage of the Europa League.

Competing for the title of best player in the Europa League were also Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Marseille, Liverpool's Cody Gakpo, and Molde's Christian Eriksen.

In the Conference League, Benjamin Nygren from Nordsjælland was hailed as the best player. The forward also scored a hat-trick against Fenerbahçe, contributing to a 6-1 victory for the Danish club. Depending on the outcome of their final match and the parallel game, their next stage contenders will be decided, facing Ludogorets.

Contenders for the best player in the Conference League also included Juraj Kucka from Slovan Bratislava, Amahl Pellegrino from Bodø/Glimt, and Igor Thio from Club Brugge.
