Spanish club Real Oviedo has officially announced the termination of its contract with Luis Carrión, who served as the head coach of the first team. This was stated in an official release on the La Liga newcomer’s website.
The Spanish specialist has left his post, and the entire coaching staff has also ended their collaboration with the club. In its statement, the club thanked Carrión and his assistants for their dedication, professionalism, and the work they accomplished during their time at Oviedo, wishing them success in their future careers.
It is worth recalling that Carrión took charge of the team only on October 9 and lasted just three months in the role. Under his leadership, Oviedo failed to secure a single win in nine matches and exited the Copa del Rey. At the moment, the team sits second-to-last in the La Liga standings.
