Large fines for the Libyan Football Federation

The plane of the Nigerian national team, heading for the second leg against Libya in the 2025 African Nations qualifiers, was supposed to land at Benghazi airport and then travel by road to the venue of the match.
But suddenly, the Libyan authorities asked the pilot of the plane to land at Al-Abraq airport, which is more than 150 miles from the main destination of the place to which the Nigerian national team is heading.
This behavior angered the Nigerian Football Federation, which forced them to withdraw from the match and file an official complaint with the African Football Federation, and in the court ruling that took place on Saturday, October 26, the disciplinary court ruled that the Nigerian national team won the match by 3 goals and awarded it three points as well.
The panel also ordered the LFF to pay a fine of $50,000 within 60 days of the notification of the decision.
