Manchester City's superstar striker Erling Haaland is expected to leave the club in one of the upcoming summer transfer windows, with his career likely to continue in La Liga.
Details: According to Diario Sport, Barcelona president Joan Laporta dreams of signing Haaland and has already crafted a plan to make the transfer happen.
Laporta is reportedly banking on his strong relationship with Haaland's agent, Rafaela Pimenta. The Norwegian has long wanted to test himself in La Liga, and Barcelona is one of his favorite clubs.
If Barcelona cannot convince Haaland to join in the summer of 2025, they will revisit the option in 2026.
Real Madrid is also keen on signing Haaland, but the Norwegian is uncertain about this move due to the potential competition with Kylian Mbappé.
Reminder: Haaland recently became Norway’s all-time top scorer with 34 goals.
