Lamine Yamal reacts to news of Raphinha's contract extension with Barcelona

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal was clearly thrilled to hear the news that his friend and teammate Raphinha has extended his contract with the Catalan giants. The Spanish winger shared his reaction in an Instagram story.

Lamine reposted the announcement about Raphinha's contract renewal with Barcelona, adding the caption, “spowww, my brother.” It’s obvious that Yamal, who has developed fantastic on-field chemistry with the Brazilian, is delighted at the prospect of continuing to help Barcelona rack up victories together next season.

As a reminder, it was revealed yesterday that Raphinha has re-signed with Barcelona, extending his deal until 2028 with an option for an additional year. His previous contract was set to run until 2027.

This season, Raphinha has featured in 56 matches for Barcelona across all competitions, racking up 34 goals and providing 25 assists.

Lamine Yamal, meanwhile, has played 54 games for the Catalans this season, notching 18 goals and 25 assists.

Thanks to the efforts of these two, Barcelona secured a domestic treble, claiming La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup this year.
