Lamine Sy extends his contract with Auxerre until 2030
Having joined Auxerre last summer, the Senegalese-born defender has established himself as a key member of the team, despite coming from Ligue 2.
Lamine Sy has won the trust of the AJ Auxerre management, who have decided to secure his long-term future with the club. The Ligue 1 side has officially announced the contract extension for its 24-year-old right-back. He is now under contract with Auxerre until June 2030.
“AJ Auxerre is delighted to announce the contract extension of Lamine Sy, who is now tied to the club until June 2030. ”
This extension recognises Lamine Sy’s performances last season. In his first Ligue 1 campaign for AJ Auxerre, Lamine Sy made 25 appearances.
The right-back scored his first Ligue 1 goal last weekend during AJ Auxerre’s 5–2 defeat to Lens on the opening day of the season.
