The Senegalese player insists that the Lions of Teranga have what it takes to aim for the trophy.
Lamine Camara is optimistic about Senegal’s prospects at next summer’s World Cup, to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The midfielder believes in his team’s ability to go far in the tournament, or even win it. For him, the Lions of Teranga have what it takes to be competitive. Placed in Group I alongside France, Norway and Iraq, Senegal is ready, says Lamine Camara.
Right now, we’re ready to take on any team. We believe in ourselves, given all the talent we have in Senegal. We’ve got everything we need: experience, youth... Everything to win the Cup! We need to be ambitious and why not go for that trophy.
