Lakers has won first NBA in-Season Tournament


Last night, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the final match of the inaugural NBA in-Season Tournament took place between the Lakers and the Indiana Pacers.
This tournament was officially announced on July 8 on ESPN's NBA Today show. Throughout the season, teams battled within the framework of the regular championship, and these results contributed to the Pre-season Tournament.
As anticipated, the match unfolded in favor of the Lakers. They claimed victory in three out of four quarters, with only the second quarter resulting in a tie. The game concluded with a confident Lakers win, tallying at 123:109.

While Anthony Davis scored the most points in the final match, the tournament MVP title was awarded to LeBron James.
In the 34 minutes and 52 seconds he spent on the court, he amassed 24 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals on a 10-of-21 shooting performance. Throughout the n-Season Tournament, he averaged 26.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.6 assists while shooting at 56.8% from the field and 60.1% from beyond the arc.
This accomplishment adds another historical feat to LeBron's career, making him the first and currently the sole holder of this title.
It's worth noting that besides claiming victory in this tournament, the Lakers also secured the cup, and each player on the team received a $500,000 prize.
