LAFC has officially signed Javairô Dilrosun on loan from Mexico’s Club América through July 24, 2025, with an option to make the transfer permanent. The 26-year-old attacker joins as a Designated Player and will take the roster spot of Cengiz Ünder, who is returning to Fenerbahçe. The move was finalized during FIFA’s special June 1–10 transfer window, making Dilrosun eligible for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, pending receipt of his P-1 Visa.

“Javairô is a player we are familiar with who has shown his talent playing in some of the top leagues in the world,” said LAFC Co-President and General Manager John Thorrington. “We’re excited to add a quality player like him as we prepare for the unique challenge of the Club World Cup.”

Dilrosun adds speed, skill, and European pedigree to LAFC’s attack. A product of Ajax and Manchester City’s youth systems, he previously played for Hertha BSC, Bordeaux, Feyenoord, and most recently Club América. In Mexico, he won two Liga MX titles in 2024 and played key roles in the Supercopa MX and Campeones Cup triumphs.

The Amsterdam-born winger has also represented the Netherlands at the international level, bringing valuable experience to LAFC’s global ambitions.
