La Liga's top scorer has suffered a serious injury and is at risk of not playing again this season

Girona's attacking leader Artem Dovbyk misses the match against Real Sociedad in the 23rd round of La Liga due to a knee injury.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the prognosis for the footballer is highly concerning. Initial medical examinations revealed a problem with the meniscus for the Ukrainian forward. In the worst-case scenario, he may not play again in the current season and could even miss Euro 2024 if the Ukrainian national team qualifies through the qualifiers.

Dovbyk joined Girona in the summer from Dnipro-1, quickly becoming a key player and one of the main contributors to the team's impressive performances under coach Michel.
