La Liga names the best footballer of last season

The 2023-24 La Liga season has concluded, with Real Madrid crowned as champions. On Tuesday, May 28, the league announced the best player of the season.

According to the Globe Soccer Awards, Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham was named the best player. In his first La Liga season, the Englishman scored 19 goals and provided six assists.

Bellingham dedicated this award to all his teammates, coach, and staff for the belief they have and continue to have in him.

Let's recall that on June 14, 2023, Real Madrid officially announced the signing of Jude Bellingham. According to the club's statement, he signed a six-year contract. The transfer fee is estimated at approximately €133.9 million, including various bonuses.

Bellingham became the third player Real Madrid signed for over €100 million, following Gareth Bale in 2013 and Eden Hazard in 2019. He made his debut for the club on August 12, 2023, in the first round of the Spanish Championship against Athletic Bilbao.

On October 30, 2023, France Football magazine announced Bellingham as the winner of the Kopa Trophy and the Golden Boy award.
