The renowned former Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea, may continue his career in a La Liga club.

As reported by Estadio Deportivo, Real Betis is interested in signing De Gea, as they seek a reliable goalkeeper for the upcoming season.

The issue at hand is that Betis lacks a stable first-choice goalkeeper in the current season. The coaching staff rotates between Rui Silva and the 41-year-old Claudio Bravo.

It's worth noting that De Gea is still a free agent. He left Manchester United last summer and has since not found a new club. De Gea had options to continue his career in Saudi Arabia but turned them down.

After 32 rounds of La Liga, Betis sits in seventh place with 48 points.

On Sunday, April 28, Betis will play in the derby against Sevilla.
