Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappé has recovered from illness and rejoined team training. He shared his reaction to the comeback on his Instagram page.
The French forward posted photos from Madrid’s training session, captioning them with the short, telling phrase: “Finally back.” Clearly, Mbappé had been eagerly awaiting the chance to reunite with his teammates.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that the Real Madrid striker suffered an acute bout of gastroenteritis, which even led to his hospitalization.
After leaving the hospital, the footballer spent some time in quarantine to avoid infecting his teammates. Now back in full swing, he could even feature in tonight’s clash against Red Bull Salzburg.
It’s worth noting that after two rounds of the group stage, Real Madrid have collected four points and sit atop their group’s standings.
