Kwara United Technical Adviser Ashifat Suleiman Blames Loss of Concentration for Plateau United Defeat

Kwara United technical adviser Ashifat Suleiman has attributed his team’s narrow 1–0 loss to Plateau United to a lapse in concentration during their Nigeria Premier Football League clash at the New Jos Stadium, Jos, on Sunday.

The tightly contested encounter appeared headed for a draw until Sodeeq Yusuf struck late in the game to secure all three points for Plateau United, much to the disappointment of the visitors.

Reacting after the match, Suleiman admitted that his side lost focus at a crucial moment, which ultimately proved costly.

“We came here for at least a point, but we lost concentration at the end. We move on to the next game in Ilorin next Sunday,” Suleiman said.
