Kvaratskhelia is close to extending his contract with Napoli

Napoli winger, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, is close to signing a new contract with Napoli, according to journalist Nicolò Schira.

Sources indicate that the player is ready to extend his contract with the club. The new deal is expected to run until 2028, with an option to extend for another year until 2029. Under this contract, the footballer will receive an annual salary of four million euros. Negotiations between the club and the player are still ongoing.

In July 2022, Kvaratskhelia officially became a Napoli player. On August 15, 2022, he made his debut for the club in Serie A against Verona, scoring his debut goal in the 37th minute. He set a performance record for Napoli players in the "goal + assist" system since the 2007/2008 season. After four debut Serie A matches, where he was in the starting lineup, Kvaratskhelia has accumulated five points (four goals and one assist). He was named the best player in the Italian championship in August 2022.

He scored his debut goal in the Champions League on October 4, 2022, in a group stage match against Ajax.

Transfermarkt values him at 85 million euros. This season, Khvicha has scored three goals and provided four assists in 15 matches for Napoli.
