Today in Asia, matches of the 7th round of qualification for the 2026 World Cup are being played, and a horrific incident occurred in one of them.
Details: At the end of the first half of the match between the national teams of Saudi Arabia and China, Al-Ittihad defender Hassan Kadesh suffered a severe injury.
In a game episode, Chinese national team forward Liangming Lin delivered a kung fu-style kick to the head of the 32-year-old Saudi player.
Kadesh was carried off the field on a stretcher and immediately taken to the hospital. There is no information yet on his condition.
