Kompany furious: Bayern coach loses his cool after Luis Díaz's reckless sending off
The Bundesliga clash between Bayer and Bayern ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw, but the main storyline of the match was the two red cards shown to the Munich side.
During the game, the Roten found themselves in a precarious situation. First, striker Nicolas Jackson was shown a straight red card for a brutal foul on Martin Terrier. This incident left Bayern a man down and made their fight for a result much more difficult.
Bayern's problems didn't end there. In the second half, Luis Díaz received a second yellow card after the referee penalized the Colombian for simulation in the opponent's penalty area. As a result, Díaz was sent off, leaving the Munich side down to nine men.
After the second sending-off, Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany couldn't contain his emotions. The Belgian manager was absolutely furious on the touchline—fans have rarely seen the Munich boss this incensed.
