Kobbie Mainoo disappointed at Manchester United and wants to go on loan to Napoli
Kobbie Mainoo’s situation at Manchester United is rapidly deteriorating, with the midfielder seeing little to no playing time.
Details: According to the Daily Mail, at least 12 clubs are prepared to take Mainoo on loan in January if Manchester United give the green light. However, the player himself prefers Napoli—he wanted to join the Italian side back in the summer, but the Red Devils rejected his request at that time.
The main terms of a potential move to the Italian club have already been agreed and could be finalized if United grant their approval. Manchester United, however, insist that a full-fledged replacement must be signed before allowing the move.
The final decision on the deal will be made by CEO Omar Berrada, sporting director Jason Wilcox, and head coach Ruben Amorim.
This season, the Englishman has featured in just 11 matches for the Red Devils, providing one assist. Transfermarkt currently values him at €40 million.
Reminder: Manchester United’s FA Cup opponent has been revealed.
