Klopp has rated Liverpool's chances of winning the Carabao Cup final

Liverpool's head coach, Jürgen Klopp, commented on whether he considers his team the favorite in the final match of the English League Cup against Chelsea.

"Will we be favorites? Definitely not. Since the time we faced Chelsea, they have markedly improved, and I am certain that the challenge will be formidable for us", – quoted Klopp by Sky Sports.

In the year 2022, Liverpool and Chelsea clashed in the League Cup final. On that occasion, Jürgen Klopp's squad emerged victorious in a penalty shootout. Overall, the "Reds" have clinched the League Cup title on 9 occasions, while Chelsea has secured this trophy 5 times.

The latest encounter between Liverpool and Chelsea in the English Premier League concluded with a 4-1 triumph for the Merseyside team.

Chelsea has been unable to secure a victory against Liverpool since March 2021 when the match at Anfield ended 1-0 in favor of the Londoners.

The League Cup final is scheduled to take place at Wembley on Sunday, February 25th.
