Khaya Mfecane close to a move to Chippa United: additional details
Chippa United are reportedly close to closing a deal with Cape Town Spurs midfielder Khaya Mfecane, whose contract is set to expire at the end of June.
The player will be free to leave when his contract with CT Spurs expires as they struggle to stay in the Motsepe Foundation Championship away from the third division of South African football.
Despite previous attempts by the CT Spurs to sell the 23-year-old for R5 million, it was unsuccessful, so he is now free to negotiate with any club he wants at the end of June. these developments have led to a lot of interest from clubs in the Betway Premiership who have been monitoring his situation with his current club.
The player is known for his skill set, which has enabled him to play in several positions, including midfield and right back, and his technical abilities have been demonstrated under coach Ernst Middendorp's leadership.
