Khama Billiat Nominated for People’s Choice Award at Zimbabwe Sports Awards
In a major acknowledgement of his comeback on home soil, former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns striker Khama Billiat has been nominated for Zimbabwe's Annual National Sports Awards (ANSA) prestigious People's Choice award.
A Resurgent Career Back in Zimbabwe
Since returning to Zimbabwe, Billiat has rediscovered his top form. He initially impressed with Yadah FC, netting 13 goals and providing 11 assists in 26 appearances last season. His performances earned him the Castle Soccer Stars Fans’ Choice Award and a second-runner-up spot in the Soccer Star of the Year category.
Recently, the 34-year-old joined Scottland FC, where he aims to continue his fine run and add to his legacy in Zimbabwean football.

Billiat is set to battle for the People’s Choice award alongside athletes from various sporting disciplines, including:

The Return of the ANSA Awards
The Annual National Sports Awards make a return after a five-year hiatus, with the ceremony scheduled for Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Cresta Lodge, Msasa.
