Milan's key players have reacted disapprovingly to the sacking of Paolo Maldini and his assistant Frederic Massara.
The players are convinced that the team's success in recent years is due to the work of this pair.
AC Milan leaders believe the decision of their management to be extremely rash.
It is expected that the official announcement of the dismissal of the managers will be made in the near future.
