Real Madrid goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has resumed training with the collective group of players, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.

According to sources, Kepa may feature in the upcoming La Liga match against Granada on December 2. However, The Athletic reports that Kepa will not participate in this match. It's worth noting that Arrizabalaga has been sidelined since November 5 due to a muscular injury. Consequently, Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has taken the field in the last four matches, securing two clean sheets and conceding three goals.

Recall that Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his desire to retain goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in the team on a permanent basis. Currently, Kepa is playing for Real Madrid on a one-year loan deal. The coach intends to persuade the management of the Madrid club about the necessity of a permanent transfer. It is emphasized that in the event of a successful transfer, Kepa will become the second-choice goalkeeper in the team after Thibaut Courtois, while Andriy Lunin will leave the squad.

In the current season, Kepa has participated in 12 matches for Real Madrid across various tournaments, conceding nine goals. The player's contract with Chelsea is valid until June 2025, and the estimated value of the footballer, according to Transfermarkt, is €18 million.
