Keita Baldé on Falcao: "A Phenomenon and a True Friend"

Although they only shared the pitch for one season at AS Monaco, Senegalese forward Keita Baldé and Colombian legend Radamel Falcao built a strong and lasting connection.

What did Keita say about Falcao?

In an interview with El After de Post United, Keita Baldé showered his former teammate with praise:

"Radamel Falcao is a true friend. From my first day at Monaco, he welcomed me, gave me his number—he’s a phenomenon."

The duo played 22 matches together, spending over 1,200 minutes on the field side by side. And for Keita, Falcao left a lasting impression beyond football:

"He’s one of the best I’ve played with. He has class, charisma, and above all, humanity."

"Falcao means respect"

Despite facing criticism in Colombia, particularly after Millonarios' recent elimination, Falcao’s status among former teammates remains unshaken. His future may be uncertain, but for Keita, his legacy is clear:

"Falcao means respect."
