Keegan Allan's agent confirms interest away from his current club

Reports of interest in Richards Bay star Keegan Allan have surfaced, and following these reports and interest from clubs, the player's agent Mike Makaab confirmed the interest to FARPost a few days ago.
The 24-year-old central defender's contract expires on June 30, although he joined the team at the start of the current season and is expected to look for a new experience.
The Ashlab defender has had an excellent season with Richard Pye, securing his place in the starting lineup and contributing to the team's good results as well, making 27 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal and assisting another.
The phone in agent Mike Makaab's office hasn't stopped ringing. At the center of this whirlwind sits 23-year-old defender Keegan Allan, whose impressive performances for Richards Bay have sparked a quiet bidding war among DStv Premiership clubs.
"Conversations with Richards Bay remain ongoing," Makaab revealed to FARPost, carefully choosing his words like a chess player protecting his pieces. "But I can confirm multiple expressions of interest from other parties." The seasoned agent declined to name suitors, though insider sources point to three clear pursuers: AmaZulu seeking defensive reinforcements, Stellenbosch FC building on their continental campaign, and ambitious Sekhukhune United.
Allan's journey reads like a footballing odyssey - from the academies of Bidvest Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns, through a developmental stint with AmaTuks in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, to establishing himself as a top-flight competitor via Swallows FC and SuperSport United. Now at Richards Bay, the versatile defender stands at a career crossroads.
Chairman Jomo Biyela holds the cards in this negotiation, with Makaab emphasizing the need for "respectful discussions" regarding the player's future. What makes Allan particularly attractive is his rare combination of top-tier academy pedigree and hard-earned experience across multiple levels of South African football - a profile that has clubs scrambling to secure his signature before the transfer window slams shut.
