Karim Konate ends a five-game goal drought

The Ivorian striker found the back of the net again during Red Bull Salzburg’s league victory on Sunday 5 April.
Karim Konate had been on a scoring streak before hitting a dry spell. His last goal in the Austrian league came on 22 February against LASK. The Ivorian had scored a brace in that match. But since then, he had failed to find the net.
However, the Ivorian striker made his mark once again on Sunday 5 April during the matchday 25 of the Austrian Bundesliga. With Salzburg trailing Hartberg, Konate Karim equalised. He found the net in the 57th minute, ending a five-match goal drought. Konate Karim has now scored four goals in nine appearances in the Austrian league this season.
