Bayern striker Harry Kane has been the subject of memes lately, as he hasn't won a single trophy at Tottenham either, plus it was after his move that Bayer broke the 11-year hegemony of the "recordmeister" in the Bundesliga.

But according to Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou, who managed to work with the forward for a couple of weeks before his move to Germany, it wasn't for the sake of trophies that Kane moved to Bayern:

"I don't think all these statements are honest. I'm not going to speak for Harry, for God's sake, but I don't think trophies are the only reason he left. I think it's pretty clear he wanted a different experience and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

He was at the same club for a very long time. He was at the point where he either makes the decision to stay and become a player at the same club, which is fair enough, or he can experience something different as a footballer and maybe as a person," Postecoglou is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

This season could turn out to be a trophyless season for Bayern at all. In addition to the failure in the championship, Munich fell out of the German Cup, losing at the stage of 1/16 finals modest Saarbrücken 1:2. In the Champions League, Thomas Tuchel's team continues to struggle in the quarter-finals, having drawn 2-2 with Arsenal in the first leg.
