Kane received the award for being the top scorer of the Bundesliga last season

Harry Kane's trophy shelf isn't too crowded, but this week its contents doubled. On Tuesday evening, the Bayern Munich striker received the Golden Boot as the top scorer in Europe for the 2023/24 season, and on Sunday, he added another prestigious trophy to his collection.
Just before the home match against Freiburg, reporters Georg Holzner and Mario Krischel presented Kane with his long-awaited award as the Bundesliga's top scorer from last season. With 36 goals, Kane outpaced his strong competitor Serhou Guirassy, who, while playing for Stuttgart (now Borussia Dortmund) in the 2023/24 season, trailed Kane by eight goals.
The fact that Kane didn't receive the top scorer's trophy on the last matchday of the Bundesliga, as is customary, but only after several weeks, is explained by his health issues: due to back problems, the English forward couldn't travel for the away game against Hoffenheim. Hence, the well-deserved award only reached him now.
