Kambosos is in talks to fight a potential opponent boxingnews24.com

Former lightweight world champion George Kambosos is in negotiations with IBF junior welterweight champion Liam Paro, according to Boxingnews24.

The fight is preliminarily scheduled for November in their home country of Australia.

It's noted that Kambosos is willing to move up from lightweight (135 pounds) to junior welterweight (140 pounds) for this bout.

Interestingly, Kambosos has lost 3 of his last 4 fights. In May, George lost to Vasiliy Lomachenko by technical knockout. This defeat cost the Australian his IBO lightweight title and the opportunity to win the IBF belt.

In June, Paro won a unanimous decision against Subriel Matias, becoming the new IBF world champion. The Australian has not lost a single fight in his career.
