Kalidou Koulibaly has returned to training
Good news for Senegal
The captain of the Lions of Teranga is back just days before the World Cup kicks off.
Until now, there had been doubts about Kalidou Koulibaly’s fitness as Senegal prepares for the World Cup co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico this summer. The captain of the Senegal national team had not fully recovered from an injury he sustained while playing for his club a few weeks ago.
However, Kalidou Koulibaly is now on the road to a full recovery with his national team-mates. Already settled in the United States with his team, the 34-year-old defender has resumed training. He is training and could be fully fit for Senegal’s match against France on 16 June at the World Cup.
