Kakamega Homeboyz ended Kenya Police FC’s five-match winning streak with a thrilling 1-1 draw on Saturday. After a goalless first half, Police took the lead in the 85th minute through Eric Zakayo, but their celebrations were short-lived as Stephen Shomah capitalised on a goalkeeping error in stoppage time to secure an equaliser.

The result kept Police third on the 18-team FKF Premier League table with 24 points from 14 matches, while Homeboyz remained 14th with 16 points.

Tusker FC finished the year in style, rallying from a goal down to defeat Posta Rangers 3-1 at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos. Ivan Ochieng gave Posta the lead in the 32nd minute, but Tusker responded swiftly.

Ryan Ogam equalized with his 13th goal of the season before Tom Teka’s header put the Brewers ahead just two minutes later. Captain Charles Momanyi sealed the win with a late header, assisted by debutant Yussuf Mainge. Tusker now shares the top spot with KCB on 27 points but trails on goal difference.

KCB retained the league’s top spot with a thrilling 4-3 win over promoted Mara Sugar, while Mathare United edged Shabana 1-0 in a tightly contested match.
