A Portuguese striker could soon make his mark in the South African Premier Division.
Details: According to FARPost, Kaizer Chiefs are on the verge of signing 29-year-old Portuguese forward Flávio Silva.
Flávio was born in Guinea-Bissau but moved to Portugal at a young age, where he began his football journey at the Sporting academy and later obtained Portuguese citizenship. Currently, Silva plays for Indonesian side Persebaya Surabaya, where he is the team's top scorer with 23 goals in 29 matches.
While the contract details remain undisclosed, sources indicate that the player is at the final stage of signing with Kaizer Chiefs.
Silva's current contract with his club runs until 2026, and his market value is estimated at €300,000 according to Transfermarkt.
