Sources close to both clubs have revealed that Kaizer Chiefs' scouts have been following Maseko's performances for a long time, believing he can make a difference in the club's rebuilding project. Maseko, 21, was a Chiefs target even before his move to Sundowns, but his limited appearances for the Brazilians (just 11 games with no goals or assists) could open the door to a move this time around, especially after a failed attempt to bring him back to Supersport United on loan in January.
