Kaizer Chiefs have prepared a plan B for the transfer market

This transfer window could prove to be pivotal for Amakhosi, who have set ambitious targets for the season ahead.
Details: As previously reported, the Chiefs management are seriously targeting the signing of 23-year-old winger Oswin Appollis. However, Siya sources reveal that the club has already drawn up a contingency plan in case the Appollis deal falls through.
Rumor has it that Amakhosi are also keeping a close eye on Aris Limassol's winger, Mihali Mayambela, who would become the top priority should negotiations with Oswin Appollis collapse.
"From what we understand, Mihali Mayambela also appears interested in returning home. People at Kaizer Chiefs know him well, as he has previously been involved in their youth development structures. They are fully aware of the attacking potential he could bring to the squad," an insider revealed.
Kaizer Chiefs are wary of missing out on attacking reinforcements, and are therefore ready to commit significant resources and funds to address this need.
Last season, the 25-year-old Mayambela played 31 matches for Aris Limassol, scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists. His contract with the club runs until 2026, and his transfer value is estimated at €850,000.
