Kaizer Chiefs face financial hurdle before signing Fiston Mayele!

Sources indicate Kaizer Chiefs currently lack the financial muscle to meet Pyramids FC's valuation for the in-demand striker, falling approximately R20 million short of the asking price.
A Siya crew insider revealed: "Chiefs' only hope lies in Mayele's personal desire to reunite with coach Nasreddine Nabi, as their financial package can't compete. Pyramids can either retain him with improved terms or sell to wealthier suitors."
The Amakhosi's proposed deal includes:
R5 million signing bonus (paid across 3 seasons)
Monthly salary between R1-R1.5 million
Growing Competition Complicates Deal
The Soweto giants face stiff competition from North African clubs, with multiple Egyptian sides reportedly entering the race.
A source explained: “Pyramids' wealthy owners are negotiating a contract extension, while Cairo rivals could offer him seamless continuity in Egypt's league. This significantly reduces Chiefs' chances unless the player forces a move.”
