Juventus plans to engage in a new round of negotiations with Lille regarding the transfer of central defender Thiago Djalo, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

The parties are close to reaching an agreement on Djalo's transfer this winter for €3 million. Lille is willing to let him go as his contract expires in June 2024.

Inter is also interested in Djalo, but they are prepared to sign the 23-year-old Portuguese only after the season ends, as a free agent.

Djalo has not played in the current season due to a knee ligament injury. In the previous four seasons with Lille, he participated in 102 matches and scored 3 goals. In the 2020/21 season, Djalo won the French championship with Lille.
