Juventus plans to buy two players from Manchester United
Juventus is reportedly preparing an offer for two Manchester United players, Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek, who seem eager to depart from the club. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian club is interested in acquiring the services of these players, who might be making a move to Italy this winter.
Sancho faced club suspension following a public dispute with coach Erik ten Hag in September, leading to his exclusion from training and matches. Juventus has been linked to the forward after showing interest in his situation last month.
On the other hand, Donny van de Beek is discontent with his limited playing time under Erik ten Hag this season, having spent only 21 minutes on the field. Juventus sees him as an alternative to Paul Pogba and Nicolò Fagioli, who are currently serving suspensions. Van de Beek openly expressed his desire to leave Manchester United in January to seek more regular game time.
Jadon Sancho joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 for €85 million. During his time with the Red Devils, he featured in 82 matches, scoring twelve goals. His contract with the English club runs until the summer of 2026, and according to Transfermarkt, his buyout clause stands at €32 million.
Donny van de Beek made his move to Manchester United from Ajax in 2020 for €39 million. He also had a loan spell at Everton during his time with the Red Devils. In his 62 appearances, he contributed with two goals and two assists. His contract extends until the summer of 2025, with Transfermarkt estimating his buyout value at €10 million.
