Juventus newcomer Veiga sidelined indefinitely due to injury

Yesterday, Juventus suffered a 1-3 defeat to PSV in the Champions League playoff round and was eliminated from the tournament. But the bad news for the Turin club didn't end there.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus' new central defender Renato Veiga has sustained a hamstring injury.

The exact timeline for the Portuguese player's recovery has not yet been disclosed.

This winter, Juventus signed Veiga on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season without a purchase option. So far, he has made only five appearances under Thiago Motta.

Reminder: Earlier, Juventus activated the buyout clause for forward Nico González.
